3) Dyrhólaey Beach

As if Iceland couldn't get any cooler - it just did. Dyrhólaey Beach gets its name, which translates directly into "door hole", from an impressive rock arch carved by the sea nearby.

Not your average beach, these silty black sands break the mold for traditional beach bums everywhere.

No sun tans here! Stamp'd @tinyadventurer.

This Stamp user tells us that despite the free parking, this place doesn't get too crowded.

Located south of Brisbane on Australia's Gold Coast, this big beach is a great place to sit and watch the surfers hang ten.

A+ beach tip, @louallover! We'd cheers you with a Fosters, if we had one...
